Bollywood Dance Basics
Your teacher Radhika is a member of Ausdance, has completed her Arangetrum in Classical Indian Dance, ex- company dancer with Bharatam Dance Company & Padma A Step Ahead.
Bollywood Dance Basics is a fusion mix of dance styles from folk, jazz, techno, hip hop, Indian classical, Latin, disco, funk, and anything else you can add! Come and enjoy the rhythm.
Lots of toe-tapping and shoulder-shrugging music, and fun easy steps and routines. You will get a great cardio workout, it’s a fun way to get fit, lose weight, sweat out toxins, improve your memory, increase pleasure-loving endorphins, and feel Alive!
No previous dance experience required. 2 left feet welcome. Expect to “glow”! It’s fantastic fun and leaves you with a smile on your face every week.
Clothing – flat dance shoes/runners/gym shoes, and groovy Bollywood gear (modern or traditional), or at least a fancy scarf or two!
